Powered Access Training PASMA & IPAF Training Centre

Plantfinder is a registered PASMA and IPAF Training Centre and is actively carrying out aluminum access tower training and powered access training from the companies' depot in Ayrshire. Successful delegates receive a certificate of competence and ID card which is recognised by the Health and Safety Executive and is valid for 5 years. Plantfinder Limited training department can also organise on site training if preferred.

Plantfinder Limited Training Objective

To promote the use of safe working practices in the operation of mobile elevating work platforms and thereby make a positive contribution to prevention of accidents.

Plantfinder (Scotland) Limited currently train hundreds of operators each year on site at the approved training centres within the company depots in Ayrshire and Edinburgh.

These Access Platform and Access Tower training courses not only meet the demands of EC legislation, but ensure that successful candidates emerge as safer, more capable and confident operators.

REQUIREMENTS

Trainee

Minimum age of 16 years. As the training can be physically demanding, users should be physically fit and in good health and should, generally, not have problems with eyesight or hearing, heart disease, high blood pressure, epilepsy, fear of heights/vertigo, giddiness/difficulty with balance, impaired limb function, alcohol or drug dependence or psychiatric illness.
If you have any problems with literacy or language comprehension, or have any doubts about your fitness to use MEWPs or Towers, you must bring them to the attention of your employer. This need not preclude you from using MEWPs or Towers, provided your employer conducts an assessment and is able to put into place adequate measures to take account of any difficulties you may have.

JOINING INSTRUCTIONS

Arrive for 8:15am. Any attendee arriving after 8:45am, will not be allowed to join the course. Please note:- Parking is limited, so if delegates could car share it would be appreciated.
